Instructor Burnout

New to the site, guys & gals, and well impressed !

Would be interested in your views on instructor burnout - does it exist, has this happened to you, how do you recognise it, how do you get round it.

Any views on average hours to reach this stage ? Does it only happen with SE work, trial lessons, PPL training etc, or can it happen at any stage on any type ?

Danger Burnout...

You can get burnout in any type of flying.

Just do too much of one thing, or too long.

My advice is to vary your type of flying and to stay exposed to your flying friends and mates. Allow them to speak up of your shortcomings. They see things you don't.

Safety first!
