JAR-FCL in Germany

What is the status of implementation of JAR-FCL1 in Germany?
Are they getting closer to JAA mutual recognition?

Volume 20th February 2003 10:59

Just a few hours old :

Was about time!
I hope that in the near future I don't need to keep up my Dutch CPL and my German ATPL, way too costly!

advice please

Hi, could anyone give me some advice on the selection procedures with airlines?
Basically I'm training to fly with the RAF, but I'd like to knoew if failing the course would inhibit my chances of applying to be a commercial pilot if this happens.
I know they ask in the application if you've ever failed a flying course. Would they reject my application if I had.
Thaks guys
Nick (LUAS boy)

Hi Volume
Thanks for the information, that is the only positive side of the JAR for me.

IRISHPILOT 24th February 2003 23:03

thanks, volume!

thanks, volume!

so when do they expect mutual recognition?

took a good while from implementation of JAR to mutual status over here, during which our authorities neither were able to issue JAA licences nor could an outsider get any endorsements / ratings onto their "foreign" JAA licences.

anyone? cheers
