Circling Minima

Hi All

PANS-OPS list circling minima for Cat C as 3.7km and 591ft.

EU-OPS Table 10 uses 2.4Km and 600ft.

Does anyone know why the commission failed to use ICAO recommended minima; yes I am aware that they work in mysterious ways.

Because european pilots with TT 200hrs, after having payed 40k for a type rating and having being awake all nite long, without drinking coffee because that's gonna be charged, are still considered better than their colleagues from the rest of the world.. :cool:

Ask yourself where a factor 1.5 is applied...
Maybe the term CMV needs researching

It's not a RVR/CMV issue, RVR wouldn't be reported above 1500m. EU-OPS lists a mimimum Met Vis for circling Cat C 2400m?
