Is it possible to have reverse thrust when landing below 6 feet?(Just before touch)

I hope not!!

From FCOM 1.7.70
Thrust Reverser System Actuation System Deployment requires : One FADEC channel, operating with its associated throttle reverse signal ; Right and left main gear compressed signals from the corresponding LGCIUs ; A Thrust Lever Angle (TLA) reverse signal from at least one Spoiler Elevator Computer (SEC). Before deployment is completed, the FADEC sets reverse idle thrust on the engine that is having its thrust reversed. YS |
thank you yellow sun..........

Were you confusing it with the 737? Below 10ft RA you can actually open the reverser... (and that is not recommended).
|
The landing gear touchdown condition is triggered for both main landing gear, either when their wheel speed is greater than 72 kt, or when their landing gear struts are, confirmed to be compressed by the radio altimeter (RA < 6 ft).
According to this actually yes. |
