Question Former US Airways B732, DC9 & MD82s

Hi all

In March 2002, as US Airways was trying to get out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy, they sold about 90 of their aircraft including 55 B732s, 16 MD82s and a handful of DC9s to a single Texan buyer. This sale subsequently helped the airline to get back into business.

Does any of you have any information on this transaction or the name of the buyer? Any info appreciated.

Thanx.
