Choose between captain or first officer!
hi!
I seem to be facing a problem choosing between two company's. The first company i get to fly ATR's and have chances of becoming captain in a couple of years. The second company i get to fly 737NG'S but will remain first officer for atleast 6 years.
I am a low time pilot and wanted to get insight from the more experienced pilots. The option of being in command sounds more appealing but getting to fly bigger aircraft is also there.
So any help in this regard will be appreciated.

You mean you have the choice between Air Sahara and Jet Airways?
I would go for the ATR72 and you will increase your chances to become a 737NG Captain before 6 years, since you will have a certain amount of PIC time.

right hand seat
If you feel you will cope - go JET.
If you stuggled during your training, then ATR will be less demanding, and a better decision
If assessed better than average go JET.
Trust me, I am a doctor.
