Question QRH-B737 Traffic Avoidance recall procedure

whilst reviewing the FCTM p. 5.30 there is "If a RA is received, immediately accomplish the Traffic Avoidance recall procedure in the QRH."

I have no such animal in my QRH in the NNM section. there is Ground Prox and Windshear but not TA.

the reason i ask, is because i came across an instructor who wanted it by memory in the correct sequence as printed!!

notice the small differences between item sequence in the Ground Prox and Windshear checklists. and if they want the same vocal precision in the traffic avoidance, i need a valid copy of the procedure.

thanks in advance.

cheers;

SV - we have it in our QRH (BA) which is, I think, pretty much a Boeing 'standard' QRH. The short answer is ask him to show it to you!

Longer answer (in brief!)
If manoeuvre req'd, disengage a/p
smoothly adjust pitch and thrust to satisfy pitch cue.

PS There is more!

Exclamation we are talking about a checkride with the CAA!

if there is more, could you tell me what it is please?

for the terrain;

disconnect A/P
disconnect A/T
apply max thrust
simultaneously roll wings level and rotate to pitch attitude of 20 degrees.
retract speedbrakes
if terrain remains threat, rotation to pitch limit indicator or stick shaker or initial buffet.

for the windshear:

disconnect A/P
press TO/GA
apply max thrust
disconnect A/T
simultaneously roll wings level and rotate to pitch attitude of 15 degrees.
retract speedbrakes
follow flight director TO/GA guidance (if available)

differences important only to instructors. all simultaneous in real life perhaps. but not in checkride oral.

cheers;
