Question FAR Type Rating Question

Hello!

I am currently mulling over this...

I cannot find the FAR that lists the requirements of a training syllabus for a type rating. Both FAR 61 and 91 say that a type rating is required if over 12,5 or turbojet, and approaches to be flown during sim etc. etc.

Where does it specify what technical subjects have to be taught? I cannot find where it says that e.g. the electrical system, or the hyraulic system etc. must be taught to the applicant.

Any FAR gurus out there?

Hello 7777 !

I guess that FAR 61.31 (h)(2) is the answer.

But it is only based on my own research...so I may be wrong.
