Devil

Have you seen someone dying of lung cancer???

Not on an airplane, no. Not during a turnround, no.

Have you seen someone with burns and the like from smoking in the wrong place/time?

Not on an airplane, no. Not during a trunround, no.

I know this isn't the right time or place to have this discussion.

Ah, but will that stop you ?

Jumpseated into one of the UK's international airports (on a "familiarisation flight") and found the perfect arrangement - a smokers' portakabin for use during turnarounds - near enough, yet far enough away from the aircraft - and it was packed with happy crew.
