Anyone know anything about Flyjet - who's behind them etc? Website doesn't shed much light!

Saw an article on Flyjet on Air Transport Intelligence a while back - maybe someone here has access to it?

OK - managed to locate the Air Transport Intelligence report, which includes these points:

- Shawn Dewey (Airworld, Helios, etc) and Mike Hawkins are main shareholders of Flyjet

- Three 757's (two at LGW, one at MAN)

- Mediterranean ops beginning April '03. Expects to have about 40 pilots.

The website is still under construction, although there is an online application form for cabin crew. Maybe drop them a line at the postal address as listed on the website.

Understand Shaun Dewey has been visiting Uk Tour Operators promoting Flyjet over the last couple of months. Believe he may have had some interest for Charter flights to Eastern Med but I guess its a little difficult until you have an AOC etc.

Bearing in mind his previous airlines would expect on board product to be good.

Wish them luck
