Can anyone tell me if a Jetstream 31 is required 2 crew operation in it's certificate? Thanks.

Yes, it does, require two pilots.

Here in NZ J31 are certified for two pilots because of the PAX numbers or cargo capacity. But in some countries they may be operated single pilot on Cargo ops just like the SA227.

Aircraft like the Jetstream 31/32, the EMB110, the DHC-6 etc. are (I believe) all certificated as single-crew.

However, ICAO states regs require them to be operated two-crew.

Flew J31 for 2 years. Cockpit was designed to be flown for
one pilot but regulations in Europe state that they have to be
flown by 2 pilots.
