Question One for the U.S fraternity

I was wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on the current process of converting an Australian ATPL to a U.S commercial? Can this process still be done? I had heard from some sources you can only convert to a private license in the wake of change over the past year. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

There is no conversion for any professional licence.

You need to pass the FAA written exam and flight test - then you will have an FAA commercial license, too.
