Just checking the latest METAR for EKVG Faroe Islands:

EKVG 171050Z AUTO 10001KT 9999 OVC007/// 05/04 Q1002 RMK BKN008/// BKN026/// WIND SKEID 16009KT
What does the WIND SKEID mean?

Same here , any idea of Wind Skeid mean ? Checked all metar decode page…

It's the wind reading from an anemometer called Skeid

Not always. Right now the wind in the TAF is different to this WIND SKEID.

This WIND SKEID isn't even anywhere online.

Skeid is a hilltop or small mountain close to Vagar airport where an anemometer is placed. The wind information compared to wind info at the airport give you an indication of turbulence and windshear.

I suspect a wind measurement at another reporting point. Seeing as it's located in the RMK section, it is possible to include plain language bits, as long as they are clear. A five letter indicator could be a location somewhere in that area.
