LHR Sat 31/08/02 long jet?

I am looking for some assistance with this one, can anyone shed any light on it?

Around 1935LT over Clapham heading towards 27L LHR, I saw something very unusual - not an aircraft I would recognise. There is not much that usually stumped me but this one did!

It was a long thin fuselage, white,T-Tail, 2x engines, long swept back MD80/B727 style wing but very long fuselage.
BUT, BUT. It had winglets on both wingtips.

I am confused.
Livery I did NOT recognise, too high to read reg number.

It looked like a super B727 like Cougars but fuselage was clearly too long. Either that and or it was a very large Gulfstream 5.

Anyone see anything similar or resemble it?
Were you in the hold/descent/taxi out around this time??

ANY HELP APPRECIATED
regards

Sounds like it could possibly be the new super exec jet 'Global Express', (large Gulf 5 hits the bill well)

My first thought would be a Global Express but !!!

It was in fact the Bahrain B727 of the Royal flight. It landed at LHR at 19.25 local time.

Happy anoraking
