24+ months out

Can anyone advise me about what would be required to become current again with my FAA 777 rating. Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances involving a job change to a startup that never started up followed by the whole Covid-19 nightmare my last check ride was about 25 months ago. I believe that there is a 24 month limit to do a recurrent check ride and I would need to prove this to move forward.
Does anyone here have advise on the best and cheapest way to become current again. Experience is not an issue, I have flown the aircraft for 12 years as a Captain.
Thanks for the help.
