Airline Accidents

I was just browsing through one of the posts on the ATC forum before and i began to wonder:

Is there an airline which has never had an accident before?

The immediate answer is yes - quite a few.

However, you need to determine your references. What exactly are you calling an accident? Where do you think an incident becomes an accident? If two airlines merge under a new name, is that a new airline? Do you want to consider the accident records of the two constituent airlines?
