Question Pilot Hotel Quarantine UK

After flying around “ Red-Listed “ countries for the past few weeks, I will be taking the aircraft back to The UK for maintenance. I understand there are no exemptions for operating crew and that I will be taken to a hotel for 10 day quarantine. I heard Speed Bird flying Johannesburg to Heathrow last night and wondered what they would be doing after landing.

Does anyone know of an exemption for crew apart from just lying on the PLF? What is the likes of BA doing about the restriction?

I am going to have a lot of time to read Pprune next week.

I've think they might now be considering/might actually be operating JNB as an "out and back" (possibly freight only) using extended Flight Time Rules/procedures but very much open to correction.
