Question Ferry Flight Recency Requirements

Would anyone know if a valid type rating is all that is required for ferry flying or if there is a recency requirement also ? Link to EASA regulation would be great. Asking for a friend. 😳

A valid type rating would definitely be required but I believe ferry flights are operated as "private flights" so the 3 takeoff and landing in 90 day's requirement does not apply. This was the case with a friend of mine recently.

Thanks JT8D-17. Obviously I have the type rating and am pretty sure you're correct that the 3 in 90 days doesn't apply but I am wondering if ANY recency is required and if so where would I find that requirement ?

If you're flying in the USA, FAR Part 61: 61.57 - 61.58 would apply for the pilot in command, 61.55 for second in command. For day VFR or IFR flights, see 61.55(g).
