Is it really game over?

Hi folks,

I'm not sure if this is the right space, anyway ...

After many years of flying as an airline pilot, I had to give a break due to personal issues. Well, I'm trying to return to my activities and some weeks ago my B777 T/R (simulator check) was renewed and my first class medical is also valid, however, my last flight was over a year ago. I've flown some heavies as a PIC, logged over 20,000 hrs, and submitted some applications to a bunch of agencies but without success so far.

Question: has any colleague faced a similar scenario while returning to the aviation market as a pilot? Any suggestion?

Thanks,

C46
