SPD flag Amber 737NG

hi

reading the wording very carefully, will SPD flag generate IAS disagree? Like wise will ALT flag trigger ALT disagree?

just reading intô Lion accident report.

My understanding it shouldnt. The computer has to compare the readings of the individual instruments, if there is no reading from one of the instruments, the computer cannot compare the readings.

The possible causes for SPD and ALT flags to appear:

ADIRU
DEU
ADM
Wiring from ADM to ADIRU
Wiring from ADIRU to DEU

Ok.

i agree - no indication no way to compare.

ps why do you think crashed lion got Autobrake disarm after take off on the in question flight? Unrelated completely to what's happened?

After reading the report, there were a series of issues that contributed to the crash. There is no mention from what I saw in the report of why the AB disarm light illuminated.
