Smoke clearance from goggles

Hi been a long time but can you run me through again please.

slide the valve down to force smoke out but where does it go, how can it leave the mask if its tight.

overprssure force button? Use at same time.

The slide provides a stream for demisting which would not be strong enough to clear smoke.
To clear smoke, press the EMER button to give a good blast and crack the goggles open to expel the smoke.
