Keyed I/C mic on 737NG

Hello!

Since some 737's nowadays tend to have a keyed I/C PPT on the ACP, how does the ground communication work? In order words, since the ground crew also (during push-back for example) plugs in to the intercom, will they be able to hear everything the pilots say over the intercom, aswell? Or is it only possible to communicate with the ground personell using the INT PPT on the yoke, and the I/C switch on the ACP, in this configuration, only allows communication on the flightdeck?

I do apologize for a very specific question, and what to some, propably is very simple to answer, however, I thought I'd might aswell ask.

Thanks in advance!
