SID requires 4.0%, Max 190 kias
Took off out of Salta in Argentina on the Ponpi 3A departure the other day and came across the following restriction:
SID requires min climb gradient 4.0%, max 190 kias.
The routing was straight ahead to D5.6 then left turn to intercept radial to Ponpi (at or above Fl150)
MSA was 19,000 and acceleration alt 5,500.
Passing through 10,000 the a/c accelerated from 190 to auto speed 300.
We were doing more than double the req climb gradient but should we have maintained 190 until completing the SID?
Thanks

The only chart I can find on the web is from a simulation source:
ftp://197.155.77.5/sourceforge/p/p3/...s_new/SASA.pdf
Chart 4-20 indicates the speed restrictions for the turns. Once you are on a direct track, then normal ATC speed restrictions apply.
