FAA Runway Condition Assessment Matrix

I notice on some atis reports that the assessment code has a minus,

Eg -4 -4 4

Our briefing does not indicate what the minus means.

Any pointers?

If yoU read the AC 91-79A chg 1, there is no mention of mention of dashes, but the displayed RCAM is shown a 4/4/4, so it may just be a bug in a new system. Or the ATIS cannot display a slash correctly. Always go with source.
