India Aerodrome FC and FT TAFs
Does anyone happen to know why Indian airports issue both FC and FT TAFs?
For example:
VOBL/BLR BENGALURU/KEMPEGOWDA INTL
SA 090930 11003KT 9999 FEW015 SCT020 35/19 Q1013 NOSIG=
FC 090800 0909/0918 11005KT 8000 SCT015 SCT020
TEMPO 0912/0918 3000 TSRA RA SCT015 SCT020 FEW025CB BKN080=
FT 090500 0906/1012 23005KT 8000 SCT015
TEMPO 0912/0918 SCT015 SCT020 FEW025CB
TEMPO 1010/1012 3000 TSRA RA SCT015 SCT020 FEW025CB BKN090=
What makes things more interesting is that the FC and FT seem to forecast different conditions for the same time period.
For example:
