Hi all,
I am currently 16 years old and I want to become a pilot.
I go air cadets and I am thinking to get some flying hours to get my PPL within a next year or so while doing a part-time job and after getting PPL, I can apply for private flying jobs.
However, by taking into count of what people has advised me to do, I might not get my ppl now but just focus on the studying part until
I have finished my university.
(IF YOU ARE PILOTS) can you please tell me:
*How did you get your pilot licenses
*How much did it cost all together
*What grades did you get in your GCSE's and A-levels.

THANK YOU

Hello again Kathan,
1 - I got my ATPL on a CAA approved course (Cabair) - never did a PPL.
2 - I think it must have cost about £35k back then (>20 years ago)
3 - I got 5 'O' levels (predecessor to GCSE's), 3 grade B and 2 grade C. I didn't do A levels, I didn't think that I would be capable of passing them, instead I did a BTEC in Business Studies which I did pass.
