Logbook

Hi good evening

Easy question, regarding EASA license. How do you insert in your logbook the hours flown in a full flight simulator? Im meaning about type rating training and recurrent.

Some people told me that, as those are full motion, are valid as synthetic training and also as total flight time. Others told me that those hours are just synthetic training...

Thanks in advance.

Certified flight training devices (which includes everything from fnpt to level-d sim) are logged under Synthetic devices training session column and are not included in total time.

Sometimes you can get some credit for sim time.
i.e. When you go for your ATPL, you need at least 1500tt, but up to 100h can be credited with sim time. So you can have ATPL check with 1400tt + 100 sim.
Otherwise, it is not calculated as total time
