VIS to RVR USA or Latin America

Good Evening,

Is there a visibility to RVR(CMV) conversion allowed in the USA or Latin America?

ICAO is not very happy with the with the OPS 1 conversion table as it does not comply with Annex 3 definitions.

appreciate thoughts.

Not in the U.S. RVR appears on the chart when the FAA authorizes it for a given runway and it is then controlling for that runway when the RVR is 6000 or less. There is an RVR to visibility conversion table in FAR 91.175 in the event the RVR is inoperative. Jeppesen elects to place those conversion values on their U.S. charts. The FAA does not do that on their charts.
