caring of licence during flight duty?

where to find information ,regarding caring of pilot licence during flight .,it is necessary to have original at all time or you can carry with you copy of it?

I would guess that whether or not a copy is acceptable would vary with the jurisdiction you are in. My original has been in my wallet since I got it in 1975. Of course it has been replaced a few times for various reasons, but I have always carried my original.
