Firefighting training requirements for crew ?

Hi

Is anyone able to point me towards where I could find details of requirements for firefighting training for flight crews and cabin crew. It's detailed somewhere in an EU ops manual but I can't seem to find it.

Also, out if curiosity, what do you do in your company to fulfil the firefighting training requirements ?

No reference, but in both companies I have done fire training with it has involved some studying/instruction on the equipment, how to use it and limitations of it as well as donning the equipment in smoke filled rooms and extinguishing fires in said rooms.

Cannot locate a reference but I think it is initial and 3-yearly.

Good find! It confirms initial and three-yearly with 'touchy-feely' every year. NB It is a CAA doc but should be based on EUOPS.
