Italian Low Cost Carrier...
I'm pleased to see the merger between Go and Easyjet and I think it will do the industry well. One thing I've been wondering is why hasn't an Italian low cost carrier been created?
Air One was attempting to be one but now that they're been taken over by Lufthansa their business plan has changed. Benetton had a business plan to create Zero Airlines based in Milan but the project never took off.
How about opening a low cost carrier based in Milan and Pisa, develop it following the Sputhwest-Easyjet module and then three years down the line sell it to Easyjet...
Just a thought thrown into the air...somenone may turn it into reality...

I don't think Crispino's Air Sicilia could be considered a low cost carrier, compared to the likes of easyjet and Ryan Air.
I have heard many horror stories of the safety of Air Sicilia operations and wouldn't advise anybody to fly with them...
