When the direction of the magnetic meridian inclines to the left of the true meridian?
Deviation = East
Deviation = West
Variation = East
Variation = West

Deviation I know for sure, but east or west?

And
Flux detector valve?

You will find that your statement that

Deviation I know for sure

Is incorrect.
