Why does use of wing anti ice increase the stall speed?

It doesn't.

Ice accumulation will.

On the Dash 8 apparently it raises the stall warning to a higher speed so that the warning comes earlier. (This from reading about the Buffalo crash of a Dash 8.) There may be other a/c with the same feature.

Most aircraft now work on AoA sensors for the stall protection system.

So as such it doesn't increase the speed but decreases the triggering AoA.

This has the effect that the stall speed will been seen to increase for the same flight profile.
