B737 classic glide range
Flying the B737-classic we have been looking at the following: how long will the 737 glide if both engines fail and can not be restarted?
Now looking at some data and trying to calculate this we have come up with about 2NM/1000ft with speed 210 off course.
I know that there is some information around about the Air transat and a B767 which had to glide but none is about the 737..
Since time in the sim is costly and certain programs have to be followed we have never done it
does anybody have some info or have they done it in the sim?

Be careful with
It is not always the speed you want to be at to get the best distance with engines out. I have done it in the sim and the speed you choose ( dependant on your weight) makes a difference.
speed 210 off course.
