BBJ type rating endorsement
I have endorsed in my ATPL EASA licence the B737 300/900 and did last year the NG difference course. Am I allowed to fly a BBJ? Or There is an specific difference course for the BBJ?
Any help will be appreciated!

Same thing but...
"...the 737 and BBJ training is completely different. All depends where you do that training. For the 737 rating, you knock on the door of an airline training center, and for some US$ 6,000, you will spend up to 3 weeks in a classroom and simulator learning about the aircraft. You will probably stay at the nearest Motel 6...
For the BBJ rating, you go to these upper class private jet training academies and pay some US$ 18,000 (triple price) to learn (in up to 4 weeks there) that you BBJ has options that FMS of regular 737 normally dont have, that you have an extra tank in the belly with 2 boost pumps (?) for extra range, and that the minimum number of bottles of champagne in the galley is listed in the MEL/DDPG. And yes, you will attend classroom and simulator training carrying a Gucci flight case. Your hotel will be a Sheraton, not a motel."

Thank you IXUXU,
I now understand that a different type rating course is required for the BBJ. Just out of curiosity, do you know how the BBJ endorsement would be reflected on the licence?
