BMI: New Economy

I see that BMI are following suit with a 'mid-class'. It is to be called 'New Economy'. I presume that it is for the A330 services.

VS started it, BA were next, then SK, now BD, any others?

bmi have had new economy since they introduced the transatlantic services last year. It's not a bad product. The only problem is the seat is the same width as in economy. You get much more legroom though!

Thanks for that. In the VS Premium Economy, the seat is wider than in regular. I have not measured but the seats are in pairs rather than threes and so that adds to the convenience.
