Normally vectored onto the ILS 03 at about 10 miles, approach from the ocean:

...over the Costa de Caparica, then over the river entrance with the 25 de Abril Bridge (the one which looks like San Francisco's Golden Gate bridge) crossing low over the city to touch down:
It's a lovely approach in good weather. If the wind is northerly then turbulence and windshear can be strong to severe on short final:
Controller standard of English is good, the approach to runway 21 is a straight forward ILS.
