Bombardier Q400 Handling Notes

Hello all,

Can someone point me towards Q400 handling notes? Whether they be controlled or un-controlled any notes would be appreciated.

Cheers

Handling Notes

What do you mean by handling notes? Power settings and pitch attitudes and the like?

Yep, and I know it's a long shot but any notes on landing technique. For aircraft I've flown in the past I've always been able to find notes whether it be from the test pilots or from fellow pilots. Cheers

You can get V Speeds and limitations from the iPhone App
iQ400 for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store

And there is some systems info here
Documents

I'll PM you some notes for a circuit a bit later.

Cheers,
SF

Really the only landing technique on that monstrosity is to shut your eyes and pray!

Here is a link to a flight test report from Flight magazine.

Quiet revolution

Other than that, don't land it "power off", watch the pitch attitude like a hawk, make smooth power changes and use the rudder trim...
