An old thread but I need the addresses for reliable (if there is such a thing)met on the net. I have just formatted my PC and have lost the addresses. Any Ideas?

The Met Office homepage is at:

http://www.meto.govt.uk/

The aviation link is near the top. You'll have to register to get TAFs, METARs and 214s/215s, but it's free.

Assuming you are UK based,

You can get the TAFs, METARs, F241 and 215s online.

i find the met link from oorune.org is excellent. i provides notams too. i regularly uses it prior to my flight. hope you find it help.

It's got TAFs, METARs, NOTAMs and some great satellite links.

This is the Swedish CAA site giving European TAFs etc up to 18 hours.
