Trying to find the serial numbers of ‘Skytroopers’ produced at the Santa Monica Plant between 1943-1945? If you know of a source please let me know. Thanks

XC-53 1942 = Full-span slotted flaps. [42-6480].
XC-53A 1942 = [41-6455/6479].
C-53B 1942 = Navigator station, added fuel tanks. [41-20047/20050, -20052, -20057/20059].
C-53C 1943 = Side seats. [43-2018/2034].
C-53D 1943 = Side seats. [42-68693/68851].

May be a bit obvious Steve but when I was DC serial chasing the folks at Santa Monica (Boeing !!!) came up with some good info.
Also military serials and civil serials follow a different sequence.
The problem is that many DC3 got new serial numbers when registered for Civilian use and in some cases these were arbitarilary given by Airworthiness Authorities.
