Boeing 777 differences
As we know that emirates airlines, qatar airways, air canada, pakistan airlines, delta airlines etc…. has boeing 777-200LR , what I wanna to know is why they -200 differs from each other , for example ;
emirates airlines 777-200LR = 777-21H(LR)
qatar airways 777-200LR = 777-2DZ(LR)
air canada 777-200LR = 777-233(LR)
I mean what is the difference between 21H, 2DH, & 233 & what does it mean , why they dont just write 777-200LR ?

Boeing does a lot of customization so the same type of airplane can vary a lot between operators. The 777 has 3 engine manufacturers and each of those has several engine versions.

in regard with A380-881 & A380-831
accoring to airbus engine codes , 3 refers to IAE engines , but 8 didnt mentioned
as my knowledge that A380 is powered by RR & engine alliance (GE and P&W) engines , not IAE engines , so can any one explain it what 3 & 8 mean ?
