Post Analogue Cockpits

A similar thread to the one I started sometime last week. Thanks for the replies.

When setting the standard pressure at transitional altitude, do you, pilots of classic aircraft, set it at 29.92in for accuracy or a flat 1013mb? What do your SOP's say?

Airbus A300 B4 FFCC (Forward Facing Crew Concept as opposed to Rear Facing Crew Concept, RFCC) has a pull-out knob, which automatically sets standard setting.

It actually says "std std" on blue background, no numbers, nuttin'.So basically you assume there's 1013 behind there (naturally you x-check with the third alt), but who the farg knows!

Cheers !
