Post Where to get UK Sigmets on www?

Anyone know where UK Sigmets are listed on the www?

Have looked at www.met-office.gov.uk/aviation
but Sigmets dont seem to feature there.

Thanks for any help.

My source in the Met Office says that Sigmets are only available over the AFTN

Not much use for the average pilot who wants to thoroughly self-brief before they get to the airport, but thats the way it is at the moment.

All the other met stuff that you can get from the Met Office F214/215 etc will give you a pretty detailed overview but ommitting Sigmets seems a little strange to me. But hey, I'm only an ATCO!!!

Since its the Met Office who produce the Sigmets, I doubt very much that they will appear anywhere else on the www.

Give them a phone and ask why! Let us know what they say.

another good site is the BBC weather on-line. It doesn't give Sigmets, which avbrief i think seems to be the only source of, but the satellite piccies etc, are really useful for making that stay/go decision
