Mayday - ELT Sept 16th 0800z

I heard a mayday call (female voice) followed by ELT on 121.50 yesterday (16/09/11) at about 0800z south of England. Several other aircraft heard and reported it. Does anyone know what happened and if she made it?

heard the same as was one of the a/c to report it..

would like to know the outcome as well?
