Post SHORT HAUL - Working hours and conditions

HI everyone
I am a PPL trying to get to my CPL/IR with a dream of flying an airliner one day.

I have always heard about money, benefits, requirements, hours needed etc.. but do not really have any idea of what the "typical" week (if there is such a thing) actually involves on short haul european routes, such as Easyjet or Ryanair.

Over the course of a month, what are the sort of working days like, i.e. days working, days off etc..start times, finish times, nights away

I know it all depends on flight times and you can bid for what you get, but there must be a rough guideline etc......

I would be really grateful for any ideas

Thanks
