Stay forever...if you're a UK resident and living in Spain, if you're getting paid "offshore" then you don't need to worry.
If on the other hand you're working for a Spanish company and getting paid by them, then I don't know, except it could get more complicated.

If you're a UK resident then you will be liable for UK tax.
Unfortunately you cannot legaly not pay tax somewhere. the 96 day rule assumes that you are a resident ie. your primary domicile is in another country where you would be liable for tax. If you choose not to pay tax there then thats between you and the country you are living in. There is a list of countries the tax office can speek to and also a list of countries that can make inquiries with your bank.

I have lived as Expat since 1997 and have not paid taxes since that. Hopefully I never have to pay taxes again.
