Multi-engine on 737ng ????

Hi, guys

is it possible to get your multi-engine rating and your 737type rating at the same time ? or better say is it possible to get your multi engine rating on a 737ng while you are doing your type rating?

There is nothing in the regulations that prohibits it, however the training center may have their own requirements. For example, if they are not using a level D sim, you will need to have time in a turbo jet airplane to get an unrestricted rating.

The rules are different under different Authorities. As I recall, JARs requires a multi rating already in hand, FARs do not.
