Question Calling all Ryanair pilots!

Hi,

The management at a well-known privately-owned UK airline think that we, their pilots, do too little flying. They have allegedly put this down to "restrictive practices that would put the Print Unions pre-Murdoch to shame".

They cite the fact that we fly about 600 hours per year while you (again allegedly) fly 900.

We would all like to do more flying, but we spend far too much time in the Crewroom between flights, or paxing around Europe, due to poor rostering.

In the last 28 days I've done 59 hours flying in 143 hours duty. I would be very interested to know the ratio of flying hours to duty hours that you operate on in Ryanair.

Thanks,

Chalky
