Cheapest laptops?
I recently bought a Breitling aviator in Dubai for £730, and noticed UK shops retail at £1100.
I'm now in the market for a laptop, and was wondering has anyone had any experience of buying computers/laptops oversea's? The avaerage price for a good model in the UK is £2-2500.
I'm sure laptops are available much, much cheaper in the east.
presumably anyone who has bought a pc overseas has not had any software problems, as most microsoft software seems to be universal.
Anyone help

Dubai is a cheap place for laptops too... Still I found that US has the newest, fastest models available with a good price.
( Depends if you make your money in USD or say a currency tied to Euro )
I you check websites for the manufacturers, you'll find that some of them will ship you a computer where you want both refurbished and new.

Just make sure whatever you buy has an international guarantee and a manufacturer's agent in your own country of residence, preferably with an comprehensive internet site (for support downloads etc) in your own language.
Otherwise you will have a logistical problem if it goes wrong.
The software is not usually a problem.
