Class E airspace
A quick challenge to all you domestic pilots....what is class E airpace...what does it mean to you...where does it exist?
And a particular gripe...if you are told "no ATC speed restriction" what speed can you do in class E airspace?

We (ATC Tech Committee) tried for years when I was up in your neck of the woods to get the Class E upgraded to D without success. Does nothing ever change?
Since I'm an ATCO, I know the answers to your questions, so I'll leave the flyboys and girls to have a go.
Come on have a guess, you'll be surprised!!!
(BTW passepartout, I think we may know each other but I'm not certain. Did you get caught for a minor traffic violation whilst living north of the River?)

I guess those of you who fly into the Scottish TMA through Class E airspace don't really care about its ramifications.
You really should, its for your benefit.
Keep a very, very good lookout!
(Come on passepartout, if you are who you think you are, own up, if not, never mind.)
